VERIFICATION
Verification should mean something.
A church appearing in the directory does not, by itself, mean it has been verified or endorsed. Every badge describes a specific directory status so visitors can understand what has—and has not—been reviewed.
Listed
Published in the directory, but not verified by the BaptistFinder Team.
Unverified
Submitted and awaiting review; this status is primarily visible to administrators.
Verified
The listing and its available sources have been reviewed by the BaptistFinder Team.
Supporter
A verified church that financially supports BaptistFinder. Supporters may be featured, but support never purchases verification or changes our review standards.
A church may display both Verified and Supporter. A church that has not been verified will display only one directory-status badge.
SOURCES
Information should be traceable.
Where source information is available, church profiles can show the source name, source type, relevant context, and a link to the original source. BaptistFinder does not need to invent missing source details to make a listing look complete.
